Authors, Readers, and bloggers. I couldn’t exist without you! Please leave me a comment–I’d love to hear from you!

4. WHAT ELSE I’VE BEEN UP TO…

Things are starting to wrap up here. I’ve been to two Spring concerts in the past week and I’ll be going to another one tonight. Also sports are winding down. Yesterday I went to my daughter’s last field hockey game. Next, I’ll be going to the final softball and track meets. Go kids! It’s a busy house with three kids and an exchange student from Spain. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What I’m Reading

I am reading “Love Exactly” by Cassandra Giovanni

What I’m Writing.

I’m writing a New Adult/Contemporary Romance Novel entitled, “Breaking All the Rules.” Currently I’m at 14,000 words. I wrote 2,000 words yesterday.

What else I’ve been up to

Shopping. Getting my girls ready for Camp Stella Maris. I don’t remember needing so much stuff when I went there. Although some things don’t change–I dragged my trunk there 30 years ago too. Next, we will be doing back-to-school shopping.

What inspires me right now

A post I read by Cassandra Giovanni. She talks about her goals and how she has reached them. I should think about setting specific goals. She sounds so busy, yet she gets it done. Sometimes I feel like I could do more.

Nail Art

Everyone loves a great looking manicure! Some people, like me, pay big bucks for a professional polish. However, you can do these at home like my daughters did by using rubbing alcohol, cotton swabs, a base coat, and clear and white nail polish. Thanks to youtube you can watch a video on how to do it.

In my book “The Perfect Prom Date” I begin each chapter with dating advice, including the importance of good-looking nails.  If you wants something easy and elegant, these are the perfect prom nails for you.
